A 32-year-old, Vigilance, East Coast Demerara man was arrested last night after he was found with a plastic gun at Foulis.
The item was found during a search conducted by police who were patrolling the area around 21:00hrs.
The ranks initially observed two men on bicycles. Upon noticing the patrol, they attempted to evade.
The second rider made good his escape and is currently being sought by the police, while his plastic gun-carrying counterpart, after being questioned, has remained silent and is in custody as investigations continue.
