The Guyana Police Force (GPF), two days ago, arrested a 34-year-old, New Street Cumberland, Canje woman at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport, Ogle, claiming that cocaine was found in packets of Fernleaf milk she was taking to Barbados.

The force said on August 17 that the contents of two of the Fernleaf packets were tested using a Narcotic testing kit, and it was revealed that cocaine was indeed present.

However, further tests conducted yesterday by the Guyana Forensic Science Laboratory on the twelve packets of milk have revealed no trace of the narcotic in their contents.

The woman and a male who had been arrested, have since been released from police custody.
