A 26-year-old man who is wanted for questioning in relation to a charge of Robbery Under Arms committed at Papie Superbet Shop, Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo (EBE) on November 9, 2021, was caught hiding in a toilet when police conducted a cordon and search exercise last Saturday at the home of the 22-year-old Tuschen vendor.

During the search, two small paint pots were found between some grass at the back yard containing two cannabis plants with a measurement of about six inches in height. Subsequent to the discovery, the vendor told cops, “them plant is me plant, is I plant them.”

A further search in the yard unearthed a bulky black plastic bag which contained one live suspected 7.62×39 ammunition along with one .22 live ammunition.

The wanted man, the vendor and a 32-year-old woman were all arrested.
