Ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch, Criminal Investigations Department, Eve Leary, Georgetown, on Saturday went to the home of a 19-year-old female who is a marketing clerk of Perry Street, Tucville Georgetown. The officers conducted a search on the premises based on information received.
The detectives subsequently found two brown boxes under her bed, which contained several rectangular brown duct tape parcels. The parcels, when opened in her presence, contained cannabis.
She was told of the offence committed, arrested and escorted to Narcotics Branch along with the narcotics, which amounted to 37.70lbs (17.1 KG).
