Earlier today, Police in Regional Division 4’C’ recovered human skeletal remains in an abandoned house located at Coconut Walk, Lancaster, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
According to 37-year-old Alvin Rambishun of Mon Repos, ECD, he suspects the remains might be that of his brother, 33-year-old Rodrick Applesammy.
Rambishun reported to police that he was out at sea when he received information that his brother, who resided at the abandoned house, was found dead and his remains was under the said building.
The matter was reported to the police, who processed the scene and removed the remains. The remains were subsequently taken to the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
