Agriculture Minister Zulfikar Mustapha yesterday met with the Ministry’s regional staff in the Regional Democratic Council (RDC) Boardroom in Region One, where discussions focused on ongoing advances in the agriculture sector and improving the delivery of services to farmers across the region.
Minister Mustapha encouraged officers to work closely with farmers, remain responsive to their needs and ensure they have access to the technical support, information and other services being offered by the Ministry.
He also announced that additional opportunities for advanced training will be made available to staff to further strengthen their technical capacity.
The Minister said additional resources will also be provided to support officers in effectively carrying out their duties and improving the Ministry’s service delivery across Region One.
