The Masterclass Institute has come on board to grant a number of members of the Youth and Oil Association free training and mentorship.

The institute is the exclusive training Centre for the world-renowned FranklinCovey organisation, which was made popular by its “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” book and training programme.

President of the Masterclass Institute, Dr. Rosh Khan, shared, “I believe the time is now for young entrepreneurs to get the knowledge necessary for sustainable growth and development. The Masterclass Institute is honoured to help provide the right ‘mindset, skillset and toolset’ to the youth members of this organisation. We must remember that empowerment is incomplete without financial empowerment, and to become financially empowered, we must start with the right education. We are happy to lead by example and make available $3M in scholarships for our world-renowned programmes.”

Present at the official agreement was the Association’s Vice President Shuwayne Isaacs, who expressed sincere gratitude for the opportunity to partner with the institution to offer much- needed training to its members.

He went on to state that this the Masterclass Institute is one of the Association’s founding partners and that more support has been promised by other partners and affiliates and will be made public at a later date.

Last Thursday marked the launch of the Youth and Oil Association, a body geared at championing opportunities for youth-owned businesses. The Youth and Oil Association is a non-government, nonprofit organisation whose aim is to empower young entrepreneurs and professionals so that they take advantage of the direct and indirect opportunities from the oil and gas sector.

The Association, whose executive is made up exclusively of youth, has attracted some 50 plus young business across various sectors and industries in regions 3, 4 and 5 thus far.
