The Court of Appeal will Monday, June 22, 2020, hand down its ruling in a case filed by “APNU proxy” Eslyn David, who is seeking to block the declaration of the election results on the basis that votes tabulated and certified during the Recount exercise are not valid and credible.
Following an almost five-hour long court hearing today, which commenced at 11:00hrs, the Court comprising of Appeal Judges, Dawn Gregory and Rishi Persaud and additional Judge of the High Court, Brassington Reynolds, made the announcement as it relates to the key ruling regarding Guyana’s electoral process which has been ongoing for the past three months.
The judgment is scheduled to be delivered at 13:30hrs.
