Three arrested as CANU finds almost 100lbs ganja in car at New Amsterdam

Following an operation this morning at New Amsterdam, Berbice, the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) intercepted a car with 25 plastic wrapped parcels of marijuana, weighing 44.974 kilogrammes (approx. 98lbs).

Three persons have since been arrested.
