One of two armed men who allegedly robbed a female domestic worker of her motorcycle is currently in custody after he was apprehended by police and public-spirited citizens.
The incident occurred around 17:45 hrs yesterday on Aranaputa Public Road, North Rupununi.
According to a police release, the stolen motorcycle was recovered along with a firearm suspected to have been used in the commission of the crime.
Stringent efforts are being made to apprehend the other suspect.
