As part of its intent to reach out to customers across the country, the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT), recently hosted a three-day outreach in Linden, to offer hassle free service sign-ups to customers.

GTT’s Public Relations Manager, Jasmin Harris, said that the series of events, which occurred during the kick-off to GTT’s 30th anniversary celebrations, was a success in terms of the customer turn out and overall engagement. Additionally, several lucky customers won prizes from participating in a weekend draw.

“Any person that would have conducted a transaction with us at our on-site tent sale in Linden, whether by purchasing a phone, signing up to be a Top Up Vendor or MMG Agent or signing up for DSL internet service – was able to put their names into a draw for a chance to win. On Saturday, we did a live draw with the radio station 104.3FM in Linden and selected three winners,” Harris explained.

Karen Morris, Haslyn Graham and Brandis Johnson each took home a Blu G70 mobile phone as a result of the exciting draw. Harris expressed GTT’s gratitude to residents in the Linden town for interest shown in GTT’s products and services.

Additionally, she noted that the GTT team would continue to host similar outreaches in other areas during the upcoming months while following all COVID-19 protocols.
